Your all-in-one problem solver.
Find Leaks Fast.
Travel light with one tool, one sensor, that quickly and
accurately detects HC, HFC, HCFC, CFC, HFO, H2/N2 (Tracer Gas) and blend refrigerants, as well as heating gases. The DRX3 is designed for performance and safety, complying with ATEX Zone 2 and Class I, division 2 hazardous location requirements.
The lightweight, rugged DRX3 helps you locate system leaks quickly with multiple visual and audio feedback indicators that change with leak intensity:
Lighten your toolbag with the all-in-one DRX3 leak detector.

Specifications
The DR58 and DR82 leak detectors are for use only with A2L and A1 refrigerant systems. The DRX3 works with A2L and A1 refrigerants, and also with combustible A3 refrigerants and heating gases (including natural gas), making it the most versatile tool for cooling and heating. The DRX3 is compliant with ATEX Zone 2 and Class I, Division 2 standards for use hazardous locations, and is the only leak detector that connects with the Job Link ® System app for live readings and reporting.
The DRX3 detects all common A3, A2L, and A1 refrigerants (HC, HFC, HCFC, CFC, HFO, and blends), H2/N2 tracer gas, and heating fuels (natural gas, propane, butane, and methane). The specific compatible A3 refrigerants are: R-290, R-600a, R-600, R-50, and R-1270.
No. The DRX3 uses a single sensor to detect all common A1, A2L, and A3 refrigerants, H2/N2 tracer gas, and heating gases. So there’s no need to carry around and swap on-and-off multiple sensors.
To maintain ATEX Zone 2 and Class I, Division 2 safety compliance, use a set of 4 Energizer L91 AA batteries. This specific battery is also proven to provide up to 60 hours of operating life. Use of other AA battery types will significantly shorten battery life, and will invalidate DRX3 safety compliance for hazardous locations.
The DRX3 uses a single heated diode sensor with an operating life of around 300 hours. It keeps track with a Sensor Hours Counter which can be easily viewed on the display any time (see Manual). Also, at 300 hours a message will appear on the display. Replacement can be done in seconds in the field without any tools. After installing the new sensor, reset the Sensor Hours Counter (see Manual), and you’re good for another 300 hours. For a new sensor, contact your local Fieldpiece supplier and have them order part number “RXA3”.
