Accessory Heads
Expand your testing capabilities by connecting Fieldpiece accessory heads to the “stick” meter, data logger, electronic handle, or other DMM to measure HVAC/R parameters. The Fieldpiece HS series stick meters connect directly to accessory heads by sliding the head right onto the meter. Use the EHDL1 handle to convert any head to a stand alone meter. Fieldpiece accessory heads can be used with most other DMMs. Your meter only needs mV (AC and DC) ranges and industry standard input jacks. Use the Fieldpiece deluxe test leads (ADLS2) or the convenient AHDL1 adapter handle to connect the head to your meter.

Adapters and Handles
Fieldpiece Instruments pioneered modular expandability, where an accessory head is attached to the top of a stick-style multimeter to measure more HVAC/R parameters than those found on the meter alone.  We also designed our adapters and handles to provide the benefits of modular expandability to other manufacturer's products.  The adapter handle allows you to easily connect our accessory head to any DMM mV ranges both AC and DC on their meter. Our electronic handles convert any accessory head into a standalone instrument.

Cases
Fieldpiece Instruments has a variety of padded nylon multimeter and instrument cases, from single meter cases that slide on your belt to a 14-pocket, briefcase-style bag that holds 3 meters, 10 accessory head instruments, leads, operator’s manuals, thermocouples, a couple of hand tools and more. Combined with our modularly expandable instruments and accessories, our bags can haul a service truck full of tools to your job, over your shoulder. Clamp Meters
Fieldpiece Instruments offers several clamp-on DMMs to accommodate most preferences.  Our mini clamp meters are only 8-inces tall and range from basic to True RMS models. Our dual-display mini clamps let you read volts and amps at the same time.  The SC60 series full-size clamp meters include most of the ranges and functions you use everyday and are a favorite among instructors and veterans alike. The SC70 series takes it to the top and works with our accessory head instruments.  Whatever your preference, we probably have a clamp meter to fit the way you like to test.

Classic Style Meters
Fieldpiece Instruments offers a full line of Classic Style Meters for technicians who prefer them from a basic upgradeable model to what the boss calls the biggest “Bang for the Buck”. These manual ranging meters cover most of the parameters and ranges you need for most HVAC/R applications. Test leads store in the meter body and, with the probe tips removed, use with our accessory heads. Constructed of durable ABS plastic with a rubber boot and the convenience of a bright blue backlight these meters definitely make the job of field service easier, safer and faster.

Combustion Meters

Data Loggers
Data Loggers from Fieldpiece Instruments measure and records any parameter from any accessory head Instrument we offer. They hold up to 20,000 data points and can be set to record in a range from once every second to once ever 999 hours.  Record and export data to your PC. A real-time clock time stamps every data point for pinpoint accuracy and comparison purposes. Use multiple data loggers to monitor several parameters investigate trouble and discover trends across an entire system.

Fieldpacks
Easily carry what you need to the jobsite. No more “winging it” or long walks back to the truck. Whether or not you’re just starting out in HVAC/R or a five-star field service general, Fieldpiece offers a bundled kit called a Fieldpack, that’s just right you. We have 17 or so in all that include at least one main meter, multiple accessory head instruments, and all of the accessories you need to do the job easier, faster, safer and more complete. They’re also a much better value than purchasing the same instruments separately.

Flue Pump      
Fieldpiece currently offers a hand aspirator flue pump designed for combustion testing using our accessory head and standalone combustion instruments with top mounted sensors.  The pump comes standard with the AOX2 and SOX2 Combustion Check instruments. It is available for purchase from your favorite distributor for use with the ACM3 and SCM3 Carbon Monoxide (CO) test instruments.

HVAC Guide® System Analyzer
The HVAC Guide® System Analyzer is the industry’s first easy to use hand-held tool that guides technicians step-by-step through critical HVAC/R tests including: Target Superheat, Superheat, Subcooling, Target Evaporator Exit Temperature and Combustion Analysis. Simply enter data on the INPUT form , either automatically with the use of compatible accessory head instruments or manually using your existing tools such as a pressure gauge. Read the results and get possible solutions off the OUTPUT form. Stores up to 200 tests. Upload tests to your PC to print out customer work orders and maintain HVAC/R system data using the included software.

Leads
Fieldpiece Instruments offers several test lead solutions specifically designed for the way HVAC technicians test in the field. Our detachable probe tip silicone test leads allow you to plug one probe tip directly into the top of our stick meter, attach an alligator clip extension tip onto the COM (common lead), and test with one hand, safely and easily. We also offer spring loaded test lead kits, silicone test leads, shorting cables, a flame diode adapter kit with mini-plug adapter, and an extended probe tip set that allows you to test connector plugs while it’s still connected.

Gas and Leak Detectors
Fieldpiece Instruments offers a variety of leak detectors and gas detectors for HVAC/R field service. Manometers
Measure gas pressure, static pressure or pressure differential with our manometers.  We offer single port and dual-port manometer accessory head instruments for use with our compatible, meters, data loggers, handles and adapters.  We also offer a standalone dual-port manometer with a hanging magnet and rubber boot.  All manometers come with industry standard 3/16” tubes with brass fittings and 3/16” to 5/16” hose adapters.

Megger
The Fieldpiece Digital Megohm Meter, more commonly called a megger is a compact standalone meter designed for checking HVAC compressor insulation. Our megger provides a 1000V voltage source, monitors current, and displays the resistance between the test points. Maximum current output is <1mA. It can be used to determine the condition of insulation from winding to ground in a motor, compressor, or transformer. Includes all the accessories you need to get the job done.

Pocket Tools
From sleek LED extension mirrors and magnets to mini IR thermometers, shirt pocket flashlights, even a basic DMM about the size of a wallet, like all of our products, our pocket tools were designed to help make your job easier, safer and faster.  They can also be a lifesaver when you drop a part in that little opening between the basement wall and the unit that hasn’t seen light since the system was installed.  There are a lot of quality products packed on this page, but it’s definitely worth the time to check them out.

Psychrometers
Fieldpiece offers two different digital sling psychrometers.  The accessory head version uses a thermistor and works with all of our compatible meters, data loggers, handles and adapters. The diagnostic standalone version incorporates all of the psychometric measurements and calculates target superheat and target evaporator exit temperature using a thermistor or included wrap tab wet and dry bulb thermocouples.

Refrigerant Scales
The SRS2C is the HVAC/R industry’s first Wireless Refrigerant Scale. No more tangled cord mess. No more being attached to the platform. It gets even better.  The platform is constructed of solid aluminum with rubber bumpers, has a sloped edge and rubber diamond plate to hold canisters in place and the remote stores in the platform when not in use. Technicians who have one first tell us how cool they think it is, and, more than a few have told us it’s the best in HVAC/R. Standalones
Although some technicians swear by our accessory head instruments, others simply prefer standalone instruments. Since we’re in the business of making the HVAC/R technicians job easier, better, safer and faster, we had to include the “standalone” techs. Our standalone body is larger than the accessory head instruments so there’s more room to include more features than found on our accessory heads, They also come with rubber boots and magnetic hanger. Whatever your preference, you can rest easy knowing we designed both style of meters to be the best for the work you do.

Stick Meters
Fieldpiece Instruments’ Digital “Stick” Multimeters were designed solely for HVAC/R field service to make the technician’s job easier, faster and safer. These meters were specifically designed to include the features, functions, ranges and toughness HVAC/R technicians need for field service. They include built-in safety features and warnings and allow for the easiest one-handed testing in the industry. They’re CAT III rated, 600V max.

Superheat and Subcooling
Charge related problems are among the most common calls for service in HVAC/R.  It used to be that you could charge a system, get close on the pressure and, if the pipe felt a good as a cold one, you were set.  With today’s high efficiency systems and advanced components, it’s more important than ever to charge to superheat or subcooling on a system.  Fieldpiece offers a variety of accessory heads and standalones to give you target superheat, target evaporator exit temperature, real-time superheat and subcooling, and with our HVAC Guide® System Analyzer, the power to go through every important test step-by-step in less time.

Tachometers
Tachometers are used in HVAC/R to measure RPM or total count (total number of revolutions) on air conditioning and heating system blower motors and fans. An RPM reading out of spec can tell you that your wiring may need attention or that a motor is not running at maximum efficiency. Our non-contact laser tachometer is simple to use and gives you accurate readings up to 4-feet away.

Thermocouples
Fieldpiece Instrument’s K- type thermocouples, sometimes known as Type-K thermocouples, combine features and functions to handle most HVAC and refrigeration temperature measurement applications. Our line of rugged k-type pipe-clamp thermocouples for HVAC and refrigeration have a snub-nose design and increased jaw strength to hug pipes and maximize thermal contact, even when the pipe is very close to a wall. Fieldpiece k-type wrap-tab beaded thermocouples let you choose the amount of the lead you need and stores the rest, and the optional alligator clip model easily attaches to the outside of the condenser for outdoor dry bulb measurements.

Thermometers
Our industry is about keeping customers at the right temperature with the right amount of moisture in the air.  It just makes sense that Fieldpiece offers a wide variety of thermometers for HVAC/R. Fieldpiece employs thermometers that use our k-type thermocouples, thermistors, infrared technology, and various thermometers with job specific probe tips.
