Fieldpack
Measures Parameters
Needed Most by HVAC/R Technicians
Most popular heads combined with most popular stick meter in one kit
Brea, Calif.—Fieldpiece introduces a new Fieldpack that contains their most popular HS33 stick meter combined with their most popular accessory heads. This kit provides all the tools necessary to measure the parameters most needed by field service technicians. It all comes in a soft-sided pack no larger than a shaving kit.
“We designed this Fieldpack so that every serious HVAC/R professional will want it,” said Rey Harju, President of Fieldpiece Instruments. “To get the capabilities of our Fieldpacks from other instrument manufacturers, you’d need a hand truck to carry it all.”
In addition to the HS33 stick meter, the Fieldpack HS33K14G contains snap-on accessory heads to measure air temperature, relative humidity, wet bulb, dew point, carbon monoxide, AC current, gas pressure, static pressure, and microamps for flame rectifier diode circuits. It also includes a small pipe clamp for taking suction line temperatures with a “wrap-tab” thermocouple that makes it easy to store the thermocouple wire. The kit also contains a pair of alligator clips to safely connect test leads to test points.
The HS33 stick meter itself is a complete digital multimeter that’s built for safety and ease of use in the field. It measures volts, ohms, temperature, and capacitance for motor start/run. For safety, it includes a non-contact voltage indicator (beeper and LED) to let the user know when he’s near AC voltage. It works down to 24VAC for thermistat wire. The meter also contains a high voltage indicator (beeper and LED) that warns the user when he’s in contact with a potentially dangerous voltage. A magnetic strip on the back of the meter enables the technician to attach it to a piece of equipment and free his hands. The magnet is strong enough to hold both the meter and an attached accessory head.
For hard-to-reach measurements,
the technician can “remote” an accessory head by removing the
probe tips from the leads and connecting to the head.
The kit (HS33K14G) is available immediately for $539 trade price, and can
be purchased from a Fieldpiece distributor near you.
