Featuring Modular Expandability of Fieldpiece Products
BREA, Calif., December 2005 -- Fieldpiece Instruments, the leading manufacturer of professional-grade instruments for HVAC field service, has announced availability of the new product catalog, highlighting the comprehensive line of over 100 different products and accessories for the HVACR Field Service technician. The catalog also introduces the new clamp meter, SC77, and the new line of mini clamp meters.

in this year’s catalog is the description of Modular Expandability and
how it works. Simply slide Fieldpiece accessory heads on the “Stick
Meter”, data logger, or electronic handle. The accessory heads measure
temperature, %RH, air, velocity, vacuum, gas pressure, static pressure, AC/DC
current, O2 and CO. Then set the meter to mV and read the parameters directly.
The catalog graphically describes the process and advantages of using Fieldpiece
Instruments accessory heads and meters. The 52-page catalog is designed to
fit in a pocket or toolbox and is filled with clear color photographs and
an extensive product list to make finding the right product easy.
All Fieldpiece
parts are interchangeable. Because each part works with everything else, each
technician can set his instruments up the way he likes to work. The accessory
heads can be used on any of Fieldpiece’s stick-style meters for maximum
versatility. They can also be used on the electronic handle as a stand-alone
instrument. For archiving, they can be used on the data logger to log data
from any accessory head, making the Fieldpiece data logger one of the most
versatile in the industry.
In addition, detailed specifications are provided on the stick meters and
clamp-on meters including the new SC77, and the new line of mini clamp meters
and small shirt-pocket tools. A whole new section of Standalone Instruments
and Pocket Tools presents handy tools for the technician in the field. A variety
of Fieldpiece Fieldpack Test Kits are highlighted providing field service
technicians complete test solutions and convenience for most applications.
