Although some technicians swear by our accessory head instruments, others simply prefer standalone instruments. Since we’re in the business of making the HVAC/R technicians job easier, better, safer and faster, we had to include the “standalone” techs. Our standalone body design is larger than the accessory head instruments, so there’s more room to include more features than found on our modular models. Most also come with rubber boots and magnetic hanger. Whatever your preference, you can rest easy knowing we designed both styles to be the best for the work you do.

Dual-Port Manometer – SDMN5
The SDMN5 is a portable, rugged dual-port manometer designed especially for HVAC/R field service. Measures gas pressure, static pressure and pressure differential. The SDMN5 includes a zero adjust button of the face of the meter, a rugged rubber boot, a magnet on the back for hanging the meter during service, and the Auto Power-Off (APO) function conserves battery life. The SDMN5 measures pressure between -60inWC and 60inWC (inches of water column) and -150.0 to 150.0 mBar. The SDMN5 also measures P1 or P2 pressure readings and calculates the difference between P1 and P2. Take static pressure measurements with a resolution of 0.01inWC or 0.01mBar. Includes 3/16” to 5/16” adapter for measuring gas inlet and outlet pressures.

Combustion Check Meter - SOX2
The SOX2 Combustion Check meter measures percent oxygen (% O2) and flue temperature and calculates percent carbon dioxide (% CO2) and percent excess air (% EA) for oil, natural gas and propane fuel-burning appliances. It's designed for everyday combustion testing and tuning, without all of the costly extras found on full-function combustion analyzers – extras technicians tell us they don't need. Easily tune combustion equipment such as boilers and furnaces to the manufacturer’s specifications to increase efficiency and to maximize performance and life expectancy of the equipment.

Diagnostic Psychrometer - SRH2
The SRH2 Diagnostic Psychrometer performs all the normal functions of a digital psychrometer plus it calculates critical A/C system targets from psychometric measurements. It measures temperature (DB) and %relative humidity (%RH) and calculates wet bulb (WB) and dew point (DP). The SRH2 goes a step further than traditional digital psychrometers in that it also calculates target superheat and target evaporator exit temperature (delta T, drop across the coil, evaporator drop, temperature split) with built-in charts and the psychometric measurements. It’s the only digital psychrometer that takes measurements using an electronic sensor (NTC) or k-type thermocouples (T/C).

Optical Laser Tachometer – SRPM2
The Fieldpiece Optical Laser Tachometer, model SRPM2, is a non-contact tachometer that measures revolutions per minute on any spinning surface. It is designed to measure RPM or total count (total number of revolutions) on air conditioning and heating system blower motors and fans. An RPM reading out of spec can tell you that your wiring may need attention or that a motor is not running at maximum efficiency. It works up to four feet away and includes reflective tape required for testing. Replacement reflective tape is available from your favorite distributor (model RREF16).

Wireless Refrigerant Scale - SRS2C
Fieldpiece's SRS2C Wireless Refrigerant Scale is the only scale of its kind. The SRS2C delivers accurate measurements in a heavy duty design and eliminates clumsy wires that normally connect the display to the scale platform. The SRS2C features a wireless remote with a bright blue backlight and a flip-up magnetic ‘hat’ for easy reading. The heavy duty platform is constructed of solid aluminum with rugged rubber bumpers. A recessed tank cradle and diamond plate pad hold refrigerant cylinders firmly. The remote stores conveniently in the bottom of the platform. The SRS2C features push button zeroing (tare) and syncing between the remote and the platform and a 33-foot range.

Superheat & Subcooling Meter for A/C & Refrigeration - SSX34
The Fieldpiece Superheat amp; Subcooling for Air Conditioning & Refrigeration meter, model SSX34, measures suction line, or low side, line temperature and pressure. It then calculates actual superheat in real time using built-in P/T charts. It also measures liquid line, or high side, line temperature and pressure, and calculates actual subcooling. Use it to get actual superheat on R-22, R-410A, R-134A, and R-404A fixed orifice systems and actual subcooling on TXV / TEV regulated systems. Use the “T” fitting to charge to actual superheat or subcooling by putting the SSX34 in-line between your refrigerant bottle and the system.
