What is It?

The Fieldpiece Voltage Accessory, model AVH1, converts volts to millivolts for use with data logger DL3 for direct display and recording of voltage through the meter’s mV scale. Use it with the EHDL1 to record MIN and MAX while freeing up your meter for other tests. Cat III rated. Maximum voltage of 600V AC or DC.

How Does it Work?

The Fieldpiece Voltage Accessory, model AVH1, converts 1 volt AC or DC to 1 millivolt AC or DC.  It is designed for use with our data logger model DL3 to record voltage over a period of time or with our EHDL1 electronic handle to get the MIN or MAX voltage. No batteries required.VOLTS

Operation
  1. Slide onto EHDL1 or DL2.
  2. Attach test leads to AVH1.
  3. Set the meter mV range to readvolts directly.

Features and Benefits

Designed for HVAC/R, the Voltage Accessory, model AVH1, let’s you log AC or DC voltage using our data logger model DL3 or get MIN or MAX volts when attached to our electronic handle, model EHDL1.
  • Accuracy: DC: ±(0.5%rdg + 1 dgt); AC: ±(1.0%rdg + 4 dgts).
  • Max voltage: 600V AC or DC.
  • Input impedance: 1MOhm.
  • Standard test leads plug in top.

Competitive Advantages

Like all of the Accessory Head model instruments that Fieldpiece designs, the AVH1 extends the capability of doing more work from one small bag of tools.  It is the only modular voltage instrument of its kind and provides you with valuable data in diagnosing possible system circuitry or relay problems when used with our data logger and electronic handle. Add our optional alligator clip lead set for easy hands free data logging.

Expandable HVAC/R Data Logger - DL3

The DL3 Data Logger from Fieldpiece Instruments measures and records any parameter from any accessory head Instrument we offer. It holds up to 20,000 data points and can be set to record in a range from once every second to once ever 999 hours. Record and export data in .xls format to your PC for use in work orders, troubleshooting and service contracts. A real-time clock time stamps every data point for pinpoint accuracy. Use multiple data loggers to monitor several parameters to make troubleshooting and commissioning easier. We’ve updated the function of the DL3 to include features you asked us to add. Combined with our accessory head instruments, we’re comfortable saying the DL3 is the most versatile data logger for HVAC/R field service.

Electronic Handle - EHDL1

Convert any Fieldpiece accessory head instrument into a standalone with the Electronic Handle model EHDL1. It features a MAX/MIN button to record the highest and lowest reading. And a HOLD button to hold the reading. The EHDL1 has a 200 and 2000 mVAC for use with our Amp Clamp, model ACH4 and the 200 and 2000mVDC range is for use with the rest of our accessory head instruments.

Deluxe Silicone Test Lead Kit - ADK7

The ADK7 deluxe silicone lead is the optimal way to test most electrical parameters you run into during field service.  The kit includes the ADSL2 silicone leads and ASA2 alligator leads plus RCT2 probe tips.  HVAC techs often remove the black probe tip (common) and insert the black alligator lead for an extended reach from ground. When used with our stick meters, the Volts (red) probe tip is inserted into the top of the meter for easy one-handed testing. Use both alligator extension to perform “no-hands” tests.  Silicone test leads deliver better performance in temperature extremes than test leads insulated with vinyl.
